Are You....

Ok, soo something weird just happened...I heard my cat meowing from outside and it sounded like my cat was hurt. I was so nervous b/c my kitten Mia became lost and never returned over a year ago, and I couldn't let another one go. So I was frantically looking around, occasionally hearing the noises. I went to the basement sliding glass door, there was nothing, called to him from the upstairs sliding glass door, nothing again. I was really frightened to find he was fighting w/ a raccoon or something so was afraid to open the door. I evem woke up my mom and asked her to help me out (I know, I shouldn't have) then I even tried to persuade my dog to come down w/ me-she refused to be a part. So I braved it alone, slightly opened the door, and in ray of light I saw this orange leg..all orange..when my cat has orange and white legs... So I open it more to see Mittens sitting on the step and the other cat moving up the step. It sounded like they were roaring and I thought they were about to go @ it, so I yelled "STOP" they looked @ me puzzled & began again. I did it again, and again. then I tried "PLEASE" and they let out a differnt meow.
I had the strongest will to run over there and grab my cat...but I didn't want to embarass him... so I said "Ok, I'm leaving the door slightly open, and Mittens.........WIN" I hope he understood
It was the 1st time I thought my cat had other cat friends...like a whole networking thing, of y they really wanted to go out.
Wow, I'll never be able to refuse my cat's going out again...
It's pretty cool actually, w/ the door open I can hear them communicating...I wanna tape record it sometime.
